Listening to: The Advantage - Batman - Stage 1

I am learning Godot! Thanks to Blender, and my prior coding experience, using basic tutorials has been relatively painless.

What I worked on:

  • Website work, Godot, and I finished the novel I was reading. Very good book. I am excited to start the next one on my list.

What’s next:

  • The site is humming, or at least functional, so I feel I can allocate more time to learning Godot. It isn’t easy starting a big project like this, but shifting my mindset to “I AM capable” really does work wonders. The prior coding experience helps as well. I know I can do cool things using this style of code.
  • I have said it before but, as important as tutorials are for beginners, it is vital not to rely on them solely. Tutorial addiction, or tutorial hell, is real, and will prevent you from actually doing the thing. I biked 31 miles today! Indoors, on a machine. But it was easy because I threw on a 2-hour tutorial. That may be what I need to do to pay attention for that long!
