Ep. 25 - Soft Launch
Listening to: Pure Prairie League - Amie
Pivoting, consistency, and belief in the product. That’s how we got here so fast. I assumed we’d be MONTHS away from launching, yet here we are, basically ready to launch now. I have reserved my Socials under the re-branded “chessWild” name, and the site is functional enough for people to use.
What I worked on:
- Fixed some puzzle glitches (two bishops on the same color, more realistic positions, etc)
- Removing some of the “In Development” games off the site completely. Perhaps I will bring them back but there is enough to focus on
- I’ve got some AWESOME games in development that I am leaving off the site for now because I want to unveil them as Complete when ready. Two games. I think they will both hit.
What’s next:
- The Park Tables under Play Now need to be tested. I don’t even know if users can meet and play each other yet, so I should really test that soon
But yeah, essentially we are ready to go. Two weeks from now is my estimated Hard Launch date (subject to change). That SHOULD be enough time to tighten up what I need to tighten up.
