Listening to: At The Drive-In - Starslight

  • I play daily chess games on chess.com. You have 24 hours to make a move. It works for my schedule, and mouse-slips are eliminated, but it means I play horribly under most time pressure. My username is ngreen37 and my profile picture is a photo of Princess. She is half Australian Cattle Dog and half Pit Bull, and is wearing sunglasses.

  • The fantasy-period is over regarding P&JCC. Reality has set in, yet I’m still full-steam ahead, which is a good sign. I’m trying not to tell everyone I know about the project because I have no idea if this will EVER come to fruition. And I worry that if I tell people and they are supportive, I’ll get a micro-dose of validation and maybe that’s all I wanted in the first place, you know? That has happened before.
  • I did tell some of my friends, and one came back to me like four days later saying they were still thinking of the idea. So again, I take that as a good sign, although I do have a knack of getting people excited about things (I talk with my hands a lot or something, I dunno)

What I worked on since last post:

  • Worked on this project along with my day and night jobs. I am decent at building websites, which has been really fun. Blender has been confusing, but just messing around with Subdivide and Extrude can lead to interesting results.

What’s next:

  • I am ready to go. Hitting the ground running tomorrow. I think I will focus on GitHub. Can’t wait to see what I can build in there! Either way, the positives of this projects has already been SO worth it. I forgot what it felt like to be passionate about a project.
